Urge President-elect Obama to support animal protections
By admin on Nov 17, 2008 | In Legislation | Send feedback »
President-elect Barack Obama is working to fill key positions in his administration, among them the Secretary of Agriculture. The Secretary of Agriculture has a tremendous impact on the treatment of animals and the enforcement of a broad range of laws—including those covering puppy mills, humane slaughter, animal fighting, and food safety.
Please urge President-elect Barack Obama to appoint a Secretary of Agriculture who takes animal protection and consumer issues as seriously as issues confronting farm producers.
