Rough weekend!

Sissy went in Friday for multi mole removals. The vet took off 35 and stopped there. When she was picked up they said they had given her a Capstar for fleas. I was suprised to hear this because just a week prior we had given her a bath and I didn't see any fleas. Two weeks before that she had a bath at Petco and there was no mention of fleas. The night before surgery I gave her a once over to mark the worst of her moles and didn't see fleas. As a precaution I asked for a Capstar for Maggie and Cynthia as well since their Frontline Plus had just been ordered.

I arrived home to find the neighbors cat dead in my front yard and that is a whole other drama!

Around 7pm I gave Cynthia her Capstar. By 8:30pm she was in bad shape, clearly having a bad reaction. I raced her to the emergency vet 30 minutes away. Despite my hurrying she still messed in her crate. She had to be hospitalized overnight but came home Saturday.

About $1,000 between the two of them but I'm just happy to have them both save and sound.
